Hi,
I have a problem regarding the Eigen frequency calculation. I solve a simple 3D piezoelectric substrate (Y-Z cut LiNbO3) width of one wavelength (4 um) and depth of 10 wavelengths with periodic conditions and get the Eigen frequency. But when I displace the same geometry in any directions as x by 2 um and solve, it changes its Eigen frequency. Why it is so?? Since I do not change any of the boundary conditions that is used previously, it should give same Eigen frequency.
When I solve same model in 2D, the Eigen frequencies are same even though I displace the geometry in either directions.
